The Department of Direction and Design was established in 1433 A.H. based on the administrative order No. 24158/ق issued on 30/11/1433 A.H. During the academic year of 1440 A.H, and based on the administrative order No. 809098/40د/ issued on 6/7/1440 A.H., the University Council approved to change the name of the Department of Directing and Design to the Department of Audio and Visual Production The department awards a bachelor's degree in audio and visual production by providing an integrated academic program that keeps pace with the successive global developments in the field of audio and visual production. The program qualifies students to be media professionals trained in the arts of radio and television production and contributes to the overall development of the Saudi society.
